When Industrial strength meets precision sifting: Meet the Loflin Rock Grapple.
Are you tired of watching your expensive topsoil disappear into your burn pile just because your grapple can’t sift the small stuff?
It’s the most common frustration out there—using a root grapple that lets softball-sized rocks slip through, or a bucket that scoops up way too much dirt. The Loflin Skid Steer Rock Grapple solves this with a precision 3-inch tine spacing. It’s the "sweet spot" that allows soil to fall back to the ground while catching the rocks, bricks, and concrete chunks that usually ruin your site prep.
Because every machine has a different limit, we offer this in both Standard Duty (SD) and Heavy Duty (HD) builds. If you’re running a mid-sized skid steer for landscaping, the SD model gives you plenty of muscle without stealing your lift capacity. If you’ve got a 75+ HP track loader and you’re prying out boulders or demolition debris, the HD model uses 1/2" thick steel tines to handle that raw power without bending.
The dual independent cylinders are a game-changer when you aren't picking up a perfect, flat load. Each side of the grapple adjusts on its own, so you can pin a heavy, jagged stump on one side and a pile of small stones on the other. This prevents the "shifting load" problem where smaller debris tries to slide out the side while you’re driving over uneven ground.
You also won't have to worry about a stray branch taking out your hydraulics. Loflin Fabrication routes all the hoses internally through the steel frame and add heavy-duty bolt-on shields for the cylinders. It keeps your lines safe from the snags and punctures that usually cause expensive downtime and messy leaks when you're deep in the brush.
Everything is handcrafted in North Carolina with high-tensile Grade 50 steel, so it's built to survive professional use year after year. From the greaseable 1.25" pins to the integrated treaded step for getting in and out of the cab, every detail is designed by people who actually work in the dirt and know what a "buy-it-once" tool should feel like.
Why Choose The Loflin Skid Steer Rock Grapple?
The Perfect 3-Inch Sifting "Sweet Spot"
We designed these tines to act as a professional-grade sieve. They are spaced just tight enough to catch rocks, concrete chunks, and bricks, while allowing sand and topsoil to fall through. This keeps your loads light and ensures you aren't stripping your property of the valuable dirt you actually want to keep.
Matched Strength for Your Machine
We don’t believe in a "one-size-fits-all" approach to equipment. Our Standard Duty model is optimized for 45–75 HP loaders to maximize your lift capacity, while the Heavy Duty version is reinforced with 1/2" steel for 75–110+ HP high-flow machines doing aggressive demolition and forestry work.
Independent Dual Clamping
Nature doesn’t make debris in perfect, uniform shapes. Because this grapple uses two independent cylinders, the arms can close at different heights. You can pin a large, jagged boulder on one side and a pile of small stones on the other, and the grapple will automatically adjust to maintain a "death grip" on both.
Internally Shielded Hydraulics
Loflin is famous for protecting your uptime. Most grapples leave hoses exposed to snags, but we route ours internally through the steel frame. Combined with heavy-duty bolt-on cylinder shields, we’ve virtually eliminated the risk of a stray branch ending your workday with an expensive hydraulic leak.
Integrated Rock Dam Protection
The front of the bucket features a raised "dam" that acts as a safety ledge. This allows you to scoop up a high volume of material and shake out the dirt without the rocks rolling back out of the front. It makes your sifting process much more efficient and keeps your job site cleaner.
Handcrafted American Durability
This isn't a mass-produced import that you'll have to replace in two seasons. Every unit is hand-welded in Denton, North Carolina, using high-tensile American Grade 50 steel. We use oversized, greaseable 1.25" pins to ensure the hinge points stay tight and smooth through years of punishing use.
